OK, so there are times I do feel sorry for Glen. Here I am, sitting at home, (working I might add) trying to get the website updated again - no one ever tells you how high maintenance a website is - and I realize that I still have the luxury of my office being about 0 feet away from my bed and television!!
I realise that I have the total luxury of being able to work, drink coffee, catch up on the TV without ever going anywhere in my car! Now this morning, feeling a little overwhelmed as I realised I needed to get the car booked in for an MOT, I need to finalise the Your Best year Ever April course notes, get the May Edition of Teaching! Therapies!Talks! edited, I suddenly realised that during all of this, I could still take 10 minutes out of my day to sit and meditate.
But now it is back to work, at least I can check off two things on my list of jobs. Teaching Therapies has been updated, so if you have the time, please go and have a look, and the car is booked in tomorrow for its first ever MOT!
I also now know that even in the mayhem of the day, it is still so easy to stop and breathe and be thankful that I no longer have to worry about going to a place of work, as my work is here! Check out the morning meditation I just posted on the Teaching Therapies Facebook Page, its so simple, but SO effective!
Have a totally abundant day today people, the magic is there, just right now we need to look a little harder to find it!!
Blessings

Oh My What on Earth Has Happened Here?
"Our last blog entry"
Basically, i have been such a bad person, I totally have not devoted any time to this Blog, and it is no-ones fault but my own! But how I hear you ask, have you been too busy to write a few lines, keep up updated, let us know what has been going on??
Well, my friends, the last Blog was on Friday 28th January, just after we kicked off the Your Best Year Ever 2011 course, which by the way is going really well and already we are coming up to the 4th class!
"You can register online at anytime to take part in this AMAZING course!!"
Since then, time has just run away with us!! February was just out of control with courses, classes and our regular Donation Day healing, then in March we officially launched our Meet The Team event in Loughton. The day was great, all our therapists were there offering their world class treatments and readings.
The team is now fully operational and appointments can be made by booking with us on the Team Pages.

Then quite soon after, we took a week or so off (I know shock horror) and ventured back to California, our spiritual home, to spend some time in the Californian Sunshine. We spent an amazing time catching up with friends, and a wonderful weekend in Palm Springs at the Riviera.
The mountains in Palm Springs and Palm Desert have the most amazing and beautiful energy. They feel like the guardians of the earth, full of wisdom of the ages, sending a deep resonant energetic heartbeat out through the hot desert land.
The mountains, combined with a beautiful pool, amazing room and fantastic company, cocktails and dinner at Trio ensured we were rested and ready for a full on week of work in Calabasas, Ca.
"Our Beautiful Pool"
Calabasas has of course become famous as the home of the Kardashians, but it really is a beautiful Old West ranch type town, amazing restaurants and shops, and it has become our home away from home as we carry out treatments and readings for our Stateside friends.

But now we are back in the UK and raring to go. At the end of this month, we do have our Healing by Donation Day on 30th April, then we kick off May with some amazing classes, courses, workshops and treatment options. Remember to visit us at Teaching Therapies or connect with us on Facebook.
Ok, so it's time to sign off for tonight, Jet Lag is creeping up on me again! and I really must get the website updated again!!
Until next time,
Be Abundant in ALL you do

Developments!!
So yesterday we got most of the team together and had out first official meeting!!!!!! Just a few changes to admin stuff to sort out, and we are up and running!!
Hoping our first event will be in March where you can meet the team!!!! But like always we are waiting for others to get back to us! Now if you have not met the team before, why not take a look at them on our website http://www.teachingtherapies.com/TeachingTherapiesTeam/teaching_therapies_team.htm they really are a friendly bunch of people, but more importantly they are all AMAZING therapists and readers who we know personally and trust implicitly!
More on the team will come soon.
Seems I have fallen into the last week of the month trap where I need to get all my paperwork in order, send edit and send the February issue of !Teaching!Therapies!Talks! and try and get the leaflet printed!!
More hours in the day needed this week, time to set the intention of time management.
Until the next blog, be happy be abundant!

Happy New Year
..... yes I know a little late to be wishing you all a Happy New Year, but we have been a little light on new blog posts recently! Although it seems sometimes that nothing really changes apart from the new date we have to remember to write on our cheque books and letters, magical things happen with the change of time!
I always find it a little sad as we begin to countdown to the new year. After the Christmas rush and the festive season draws to a close, there comes a time for reflection. A time to review the year, remember the friends we have lost, and reflect on the friends that have come into our life. A time to remember those from the past, and wonder, who will come into our lives in the future.
Also there comes a time for a life review. Did we achieve all we wanted in the past 12 months? Have our paths changed? Did we really do our best? Many of us take the time to set out a new resolution list. Resolutions are often centred on what we feel we need to change about ourselves to make us better people. Sometimes this is really important, especially if we are leading a path which is affecting our health, or the lives of those around us in a negative way. But when you look at who you are, who you really are, and what you have really achieved, is there really a need to change?
We now don't make resolutions as they can become negative and make us feel bad if we do not "achieve" them, rather we look at goals and aims for the new year, trusting that if they do not happen, there is often a greater plan involved which we can not see immediately.
Last year we focused on abundance. Abundance of health, wealth, happiness and love. This year, we will still be focusing on abundance, but adding to this empowerment. Its time to change. This year may be hard for many people around the world as the financial grip tightens, but finding it within ourselves to stay strong and become empowered is going to be the key to getting us through the next 12-18 months.
Maybe, if you have a belief in the changes of 2012, you can view this time as darkest hours before dawn.
For us, we wish to maintain our humour, continue to grow, continue to love and continue to share. With this in mind we wish for you all you desire for the next 12 months.

Simple Pleasures in life.......
.......... What is it about the simple things in life? Who doesn't get the smallest thrill from being the person that punches through the foil that covers the new jar of coffee - that heady aroma of pure coffee-ness! Or watching the new flowers in the vase start to uncurl their leaves, blooming from tight buds into full open bloomed flowers? We are really lucky where we are, right on the edge of Ancient Epping forest. this time of the year, the trees are shedding their leaves by the wheelbarrow load. Today, there is a low lying mist which the winter sun is finally given up trying to burn off, the trees are looking magnificent (if a little bare) stretching up to the sky. Birds are attacking our holly bushes eating as many berries as they can stuff into their mouths and the whole area has that winter smell.

Sometimes I can get quite lost just looking at the beauty of the natural world. The abundance which is surrounding us, the richness of life which so often we are too busy to stop and see. This morning, as I was watching our dogs (who have all recovered fully from kennel cough) wander around the garden, I realised that each time I get lost in my own little world, I am in fact entering into a state of meditation, just being totally in the moment! I think I am going to call these moments, power meditations. A little like power naps, totally refreshing for the soul and spirit, totally beneficial for the mind.
Just think of this the next time you are opening up that fresh package of coffee, that time when you take that first sniff, the aroma of the bean enters into your nose, the emotions associated with the smell of coffee take over. At this exact moment in time, you are living "In the moment". Not thinking about the future, not thinking about the past, just being.
Live in the moment, be happy, be abundant!

A Magical Weekend
I just wanted to share what a magical weekend we have had here in Teaching Therapies world. It started on Friday night (as most weekends do) we had a Reiki share planned, with many attendees, who one by one for their own reasons could not attend. We ended up with one lady coming for the Reiki Share.
It soon became apparent that we needed this one to one time with her as she is now joining the Teaching Therapies Team. More details will appear in our !Teaching!Therapies!Talks! newsletter in December.
On Saturday we ran an amazing Physical Mediumship workshop. We were very fortunate to have captured some amazing shots of table tipping on film which I am currently going through and hoping to get a good enough quality to post onto our new You Tube page.
As you know from us and from previous posts, "My Name is David and I am addicted to Social Networking!"
With all jokes aside, I am convinced that Social Networking is really a great way to keep people updated and aware of the great work that many people do with holistic health, healing and spirit. With this in mind, if you would like to send your spiritual articles or thoughts to teachtherapies@aol.com I will happily feature them on this blog.
On Sunday we had a house cleansing and spirit detachment in South East London, which was amazing, something which I absolutely love doing!
Today was also special, during a mediumship 1-2-1 lesson, we managed to help an earthbound spirit cross into the light. All in all, this (long) weekend has been AMAZING!
Until next time, be happy, embrace abundance!
D
PS: I found this earlier, it made me laugh so I thought I would share
Its A-Bun-Dance!
